Fabric Rosettes for Mother's Day

Today I created several fabric rosettes from various fabrics. These can be made as hair clips (with a single prong alligator clip) or broaches, anything you want! There are so many different things you can do with them, attach them to a plain t-shirt to give it some glamor, attach to a hat, a jacket, wear in your hair, etc. It's the perfect mother's day gift! Hot Momma T's

This weekend I got to attend the grand opening party for Purl fabric store in Soho. They just moved into a GORGEOUS new location. There were a lot of people there and they had lots of beautiful things for sale, not to mention lemonade and tasty cookies. I bought a fat quarter bundle that I just love and am so excited to make things out of! If you haven't been to Purl you should check it out, or at least visit their website.

So, as most of you know Mother's Day is just a couple weeks away. In honor of this Ladybird Designs is going to be showing items that would make great gifts throughout the week. Today's is a Hot Momma T. Every mom needs their wardrobe to be comfy and easy, but also stylish. Silk Flower Headband

Hair Accessory Week!

It's hair accessory week at Ladybird Designs! Check back each day to see what new design is available. Today's is a fabric flower headband. The band is elastic with a no slip grip underside. The size is determined by age of wearer, so just let me know who the headband is for when you order. This band is 1/4 inch wide, but I also have 1/2 inch wide size if you would prefer that, just let me know. To order visit my etsy store here.

fabric flower hair clips

new item just added to the store: custom fabric flower hair clips! this are adorable accessories for any baby, toddler, or woman. they can be worn as a hair accessory, or i can put a pin on the back to make it a broach. when made as a broach, the flower is attached to a single prong alligator clip. the clip itself has been lined with a matching ribbon (and the ends have been treated to prevent fraying). clips are only been partially lined to provide the strongest hold.
