I had the pleasure of doing a custom order for a friend recently. Her daughter was turning 1 and she wanted a special shirt for her to wear. I decided to do a tank top (since it's been so hot!) and it turned out quite cute!

Just for fun

I had been wanting to make my son a new shirt for a while and finally did it! We love green in our family, so when I found this green stripped shirt I had to get it. We are also Beatles fan (obviously!)

Custom Order

Our good friends had a baby back in November and I wanted to make their sweet girl a custom onesie. The mom has a collection of Russian stacking dolls, so that was my first thought. Using applique, it was hard to get the detail, but I think it turned out pretty cute. Sorry it took me so long to finally send it guys!!!

Kerchief bibs

I am so sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything! It's a lot harder to get things made, photographed, edited, and posted with a baby than I thought it would be. Then when you add holidays and travel, etc. it's next to impossible! I actually have made a couple new items though, so today I will share the one for the little guys: kerchief bibs!

The Newest Addition

Sorry again for not posting anything lately, but I have a good reason this time: Oliver James was born August 1. He weighed 9.3lbs!!! So, needless to say, I've been recovering. He is a wonderful baby, we are so lucky. And he has been a excellent model for Ladybird Designs!

I haven't been doing a lot of new designs, but I did just complete a custom order for the twin set. It turned out really cute. Hopefully more new things to come soon. Thanks for understanding my little hiatus.

Sorry I've been MIA for a while. I am now getting to the end of my pregnancy, and actually could have the baby any day now. Unfortunately for you, this means I am tired and not feeling especially creative. Sorry! Bare with me and after the baby is here and we are settled I will be back!
